San Chez Bistro & Catering
Why is this one of our picks for the GR experience?
It is a Spanish cuisine style restaurant a unique and fun place to experience a tapas style dinner. In case you don't know what tapas is...
Tapas is small portioned meals meant for sharing. It is an excellent place to take your V-day date ;) or a group of friends! If you want a drink with your meal they have the best Sangria downtown. There's a space to sit at if you want to watch the chef's cook your food or they have full service at their bar with many great drinks to choose from!
This spacious place has a great events space for a party. Info for booking an event is on their website below:

What else is San Chez near? Well it's next door to GR Brewing Co. It is also near: The BOB, Hopcat, and Van Andel Arena. A great area for a fun Friday or Saturday night :)
Martha's Vineyard
Why is this one of our picks for the GR experience?
Located at 200 Union Ave. it is near many beautiful homes and close to the Historic Heritage Hill District..
It's not just any ordinary neighborhood corner store. It's much more than that! They have a fantastic global wine selection to choose from. There's no better place downtown to find a tasty German Riesling or your favorite craft brew..
What else do they have? There are a few fresh grocery items, many hand crafted cheeses, and freshly prepared deli items. Yum!
Blue Bridge & Rosa Park Circle
Why are these two of our picks for the GR experience?
Rosa Park Circle-
Is located off of Monroe at the heart of downtown <3 within walking distance of the Blue Bridge. It is near many nice little shops as well as the popular JW Marriot and Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.
During the winter time this location is transformed into a winter wonderland: the arena is turned into an ice rink and beautiful lights are decorated in the surrounding trees. During the warmer months it is a venue for events like: concerts, dances, the GR Original Swing Society.. where anyone can go swing dancing every Tuesday night :)
Blue Bridge-
It is a beautiful place to go for a walk whether you're walking along the waters edge or taking you dog for a walk across it. It is always lit up at night and it is always a wonderful sight.
A great place to take your date or to surprise that special someone with a wedding proposal ;)
Below you will see a link to a time lapsed video of wedding proposals captured on this pretty bridge!

Over the river it is near GVSU's downtown campus, the JW Marriot, and Amway..
During the warmer months sometimes there is swing dancing on the bridge or musical events!
